Sometimes healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about getting parts of ourselves back.The parts we lost while surviving. The confidence we stopped carrying. The dreams we put aside. The laughter that used to come more easily. The version of ourselves that existed before life became so heavy. And maybe we don’t get those pieces back exactly as they were. Maybe they return a little wiser, a little stronger, and with a deeper understanding of what really matters.
There’s something beautiful about realizing that the things you thought were gone forever were sometimes just waiting for you.
Little by little, we find our way back to ourselves.
And sometimes, getting yourself back is the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
