Melissa and Andre

Melissa and Andre got married during that horrible week where we had all of that flooding, here in Daytona Beach. When I woke up that morning and looked at the weather report I thought for sure it was going to be a rough day. But, the big man upstairs must have known it was their wedding day. I am not joking the day started with a sky that looked like night time, just as dark and gloomy as could be. In fact, it had looked like that for days. We got out of their ceremony and for the first time in days the sky was blue and sun was out. It was still windy but that was the least of our worries. We were all just excited that its turned out to be a great day.

Melissa and Andre were a sweet couple. I don’t think I’ve ever met a guy with a permanent smile as Andre had. His smile was so sincere and refreshing. He radiated happiness and joy. When he danced with his mom I was crying right along with him. Melissa was calm and collected. She had a wonderful peace about her. You could tell that they both came from wonderful families.

Melissa and Andre were married at The Shore Resort. The room was decorated fabulously by Rachael Kasie Designs.
