When Alison told me that she wanted to play up their engagement session to look more like a fashion spread for for a metropolitan magazine, I knew we were going to have a lot of fun shooting. A loft in Jacksonville, Fl gave this great South Beach feel and made the perfect location to get the look she was wanting. Great choice Alison.
Alison and Alberto had this great intimacy between them. It was easy to capture the love and emotion they had for each other.
You could tell family meant the world to them. It is true what they say mother like daughter and Son like Father. Alison’s daughter Ariana was a hoot. You could tell she was having a blast posing for the camera. Alberto’s son Branden was smiling the whole time and he had such a warm personality for a little boy.
You could tell no one was camera shy here. Which made my job easy. Sometimes, I feel like I am cheating when I get to photograph such a beautiful family like this one.

I am SO pleased with the results of mine and Alberto’s engagement shoot!!! I really cannot express how grateful we feel to have been able to work with Leah! The quality of her work is outstanding (as you can see for yourself)! I had in my mind how I wanted the pictures to turn out and she captured EVERYTHING. And the fact that she was willing to work with our kids to incorporate them into the shoot was such an awesome gesture. It is not only about Alberto and I joining together as husband and wife, but our son and daughter are just as much a part of our life, so we were glad they were there for such an important event 🙂 I appreciate the fact that she checked the location to see what it had to offer and utilized it VERY WELL 🙂 THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU LEAH!!! Alberto and I are so excited to shoot with you on our wedding day!!!!!!!!
