When Kendal first described her wedding and gave me the intimate details, I was delighted. My first thoughts were great another intimate wedding with a touch of class! I adore simple elegance.
Matt and Kendal flew in from New York to be married at the University of Florida in Gainsville, where they first met in college. When I arrived at the church and met Kendal and Matt they were charming, quiet, well refined and very pleasant. The Baughman Center where the ceremony was held matched their personality. It was picturesque with lead glass windows, cathedral doors and a semi-modern/Gothic revival architectural interior… The perfect place for a subdued yet enchantingly romantic wedding.
I must admit that after shooting the ceremony, I thought that the reception would be more of the same. A bit subdued yet enchantingly romantic. I decided that I would settle in and enjoy the romance and serenity of the day. Was I ever surprised! I was completely caught off guard. The reception held at Sweetwater Branch Inn was equally as beautiful and intimately elegant as the ceremony…but serene and subdued it was not. This refined and somewhat conservative crowd knew how to have a good time and get down and party. I had a blast, it was definitely a wedding celebration that I will remember for along time.
At the end of the night, although a bit tired I felt sad when the last song was called. I even begged the fantastic DJ from Gnys Entertainment /DJ Jarad Bowenms to do one more song. The selection of music this DJ played was fantastic and I didn’t want the music or the night to end. This DJ has a knack for knowing the exact songs to play to get people up dancing and partying. This day could not have gone any better and much of the thanks should go to their planner Amy from Adore Events, she did an outstanding job.
Take a peek at some of the pictures from their wedding to get an idea of the romance and fun that was captured that day. Matt and Kendal are a beautiful couple and they had one of the best wedding celebrations I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. What a great group of family and friends they have (the kind of love and support every young couple should have in their lives). Matt and Kendal I wish you a long, happy and fulfilled life together.
Thank you Matt, Kendal and thank your amazing family and friends… what a wonderful wedding.
Enjoy the pictures!
